Message	chip, exposing the quatrz crystal, does this erase the data/information/program on the chip? I recently recieved a chip from a vendor that did not have the tape covering the quartz crystal, leaving it exposed to light, and the chip does not work in my car. Just wanted to get some educated opinions before I contact the vendor. Thanks.
